Since its incorporation in April 1921, Martha’s Vineyard Hospital has been committed to delivering high quality, compassionate medical care to each and every member of the Vineyard’s year-round and seasonal community, as well as all who visit. Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is a member of Partners Healthcare and an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital. This partnership allows them to provide patients with seamless accessibility to the finest community-based medicine as well as the most advanced specialty care in the world. The Hospital had been running on an outdated website CMS and front-end design that proved difficult to utilize internally and was un-intuitive to the viewer. We worked with the Hospital to build a brand new website that is tailored and designed for patients, families, doctors, and the entire Island community. We re-imagined how the site could function and created new user pathways, simplified content and streamlined functionality. The website is responsive and crafted around a grid-based layout to serve a fully fluid design layout across a range of devices from desktop to mobile.
